CONFLICT COACHING & TRAINING (FOR TEAMS, MANAGEMENT & EXECUTIVES)

On an hourly basis, half or full day sessions - Ansell Mediation & Legal Services provides Conflict Management Coaching to individuals, management, executives and groups on examining, navigating, interpreting, addressing and resolving conflict.   Conflict Coaching teaches individuals and groups how to identify, assess and de-escalate tensions where conflict is occurring, is likely to occur or is proven to occur.  Conflict coaching builds capacity and skill in handling workplace and/or interpersonal conflicts with employees or others with the goal of mitigating the conflict and avoiding the grievance from escalating to a complaint or legal action.

Conflict Coaching is a confidential and voluntary process in which a coach works with individual clients on a one-on-one basis to:
  • examine their conflict management style
  • gain insight into how conflict impacts on them
  • examine the drivers of conflict and how to mitigate their impact
  • increase their effectiveness at resolving disputes
  • build confidence in handling conflict
  • prepare for anticipated disputes
  • improve communication skills
  • enhance conflict management skills

Conflict Coaching case scenario: ABC Hospital has eliminated Team A from their HR department due to downsizing.  3 of the 7 people from Team A have been re-assigned to the remaining teams of Teams B and C, the other 4 employees have received packages or been let go.  A conflict coach would be an invaluable asset in coaching the remaining team members on integrating effectively into the existing, thriving teams, addressing any questions, issues or misnomers between management and employee, fostering a respectful and healthy work model, and morale and reinforcing Hospital policy and effective communication techniques.
